ABOUT
Fresno Unified School District hosted the inaugural Latinx High School Recognition Celebration in 2023. The event celebrated Hispanic culture, traditions and community, and was hosted exclusively in Spanish at McLane High School's football stadium.

Education and Leadership Foundation has been entrusted to administer the 2024 event, and all updates and news will be hosted on this page.

The agenda for the April 09, 2024 planning meeting is below with action items presented at the meeting and notes of what was worked on. The meeting will be at the Fresno Adult School from 5:30-7:00pm.

UPDATE 01-23-24
The January meeting of the Planning Committee accomplished three primary action items: Confirmation of comittee chairs and the respective role of each committee, assigned each subcommittee action items, and initiated the planning for student sign-ups (which will start in February). UPDATE 11-20-23
The planning committees have been formed and have started the planning process for the 2024 event. Sponsorship levels have been established, and can be accessed via the button below. The committee members have also been working diligently to secure funding for the event, and are nearly ready to announce the initial sponsorships. More details coming soon!
