About the Celebración

The annual Latinx High School Celebración began in 2023, as an effort by high school students to have a graduation that was inclusive, bilingual, and that celebrated not only their achievements, but that also recognized their families’ sacrifices to help them succeed.

Through the community’s support, this celebration has continued to grow in scale and impact. Last year alone, the third iteration of the LHSC honored 600 high school graduates and their families. Collectively, over 8,000 attendees enjoyed a festive ceremony filled with inspiring speeches from local leaders, live music, and cultural performances at the Savemart Center, one of Fresno's premier entertainment venues.
