Thanks to the Food and Farm Worker Relief Grant Program (FFWR) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), certain individuals can apply to receive a one-time payment of $600.

The USDA distributed approximately $667 million in grant funding to 14 non-profit organizations and tribal entities. The purpose of the funding is to help offset the costs workers in certain industries (defined below) incurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those working in frontline agriculture, and/or meatpacking during the period of January 27, 2020, through May 11, 2023, are potentially eligible for financial relief.
